Food Stamp Program Eligibility Tools/ Resources
There are several tools and resources below that can help you to determine if a household is potentially eligible to receive food stamp benefits.  

Food Stamps In New York State: An Eligibility Prescreening Guide – Oct. 09 Edition
This guide is designed for community based organizations, advocates and volunteers who are working with low-income households and want to determine if a household may potentially qualify for food stamp benefits, help assist the household through the application process and determine an estimated food stamp benefit allotment. 

Food Stamp Budget Worksheet for October 1, 2009 thru September 30, 2010
This Budget worksheet is a paper worksheet that can be used to determine the estimated food stamp allotment for a household. This worksheet also contains all the updated FSP income and deductions guidelines that became effective October. 1, 2009.

 "How To" Sheet for using the Food Stamp Estimator Tools

This "How To" sheet is designed to help orient new users to the Food Stamp Benefit Estimator tools.  Unlike our paper budget worksheets, these tools do some of the math for you.
